The White Stripes are suing a London gallery for displaying a poster that portrays their feud with Billy Childish.
The argument began when Childish dismissed the Stripes in an interview with GQ magazine and the White Stripes hit back on their website. However this disagreement has fueled even more nastiness, with Jack White now bringing charges against a London gallery for displaying a poster that mocks the dispute.
The offending print jokingly promotes an imaginary boxing match between Billy 'Bitter' Childish and Jack ‘Whingy’ White.
However, according to The Independent, White claims that the poster violates the band's intellectual property and he now intends to prosecute the gallery.
Gallery owner Steven Lowe told the paper: “It was just a bit of fun but these people don't seem to have a sense of humour...I've written to the White Stripes' management to see exactly what copyright we're infringing."
