Ashley Cole's mum 'misses Cheryl'

Ashley Cole's mum has reportedly been trying to get him and Cheryl back together.

Sue Cole, who lives with her footballer son in Surrey, has been bombarding the Geordie singer with phone calls, reports Now.

"Sue talks about the house and how much it misses Cheryl's stylish touch," said a friend of the X Factor judge. "And she has told her how much she wishes she was still with 'her Ash'.

"Sue would love to see them back together, but Cheryl has made it clear that there is no chance. She wouldn't let herself get hurt by him again."

The source also added that Cheryl "has always thought the world of Sue... but now she just wants to move on".
