Reports had claimed that the zoo, previously run by Terri's late husband Steve Irwin, was on the brink of closure.
Speaking to ABC, she said: "I have absolutely no intention of closing Australia Zoo.
"Our wildlife hospital is running, our wildlife experiences are continuing, and we fund our conservation projects with people who come into Australia Zoo.
"While the projects are not seeing the influx of cash that they have in the past, none of them have stopped. Nothing has closed. Nothing will close."
Irwin added that she would honour a promise made to her husband to keep the zoo running successfully.
