The mother-of-eight, who currently stars in TLC's Kate Plus Eight, told Lopez Tonight on Monday that she aims to complete a 26-mile marathon in the future.
"I always ran a little bit but I started running outside to relieve stress and kind of got a little carried away as I quite possibly tend to do with a lot of things!" she said.
"I'm up to, on my good days, eight miles, and I hope to run a marathon... It feels very symbolic of my life. You have to just keep going; don't look back, just keep going."
As for whether she can "outrun her critics", the reality star joked: "I literally do! I outrun the paparazzi and laugh because they are in the dust!
"I think to myself, 'I can run faster than you can!'"
Gosselin recently returned from a vacation to Australia and New Zealand with her children, where she filmed scenes for her TLC show.
