Rosie O'Donnell 'splits from girlfriend'

Rosie O'Donnell has split from girlfriend Tracy Kachtick-Anders after dating for more than a year, it has been reported.

A source close to the pair told The New York Post that the break-up has been particularly difficult on their respective children because the kids had grown close during the course of O'Donnell and Kachtick-Anders's relationship.

"They have definitely split up, but it is very complicated because their kids are very close," the insider said. "They still spend a lot of time together."

While declining to confirm or deny the split, O'Donnell's rep insisted that the couple are still in regular contact.

The rep stated: "Rosie and Tracy never officially lived under one roof. They have lived near one another for quite some time, and their families still socialise and they see each other frequently."

O'Donnell, who hosts a morning programme on SIRIUS XM Radio, was previously married to former Nickelodeon marketing executive Kelli Carpenter and is the mother of four children.

She is to return to TV this fall as the host of a new talkshow on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
