Coogan "not my boyfriend", says Love

Courtney Love has insisted she is not with Steve Coogan, saying he is "funny as f**k" but just a friend.

The rock singer says she was misinterpreted recently when she said the pair were "still really close".

"We're friends and he's funny as f**k and very cool. But he's not my boyfriend and if he was I sure as hell would never talk about it," she explained.

"My private life is my private life. I'll say one thing. I'm f**king sick of f**king tabloids, I don't talk to them and I don't like them."
