Bethany Joy Galeotti 'welcomes baby girl'

Bethany Joy Galeotti and husband Michael have welcomed their first child.

Writing on her official blog, the One Tree Hill actress revealed the arrival of daughter Maria by posting a picture of herself and Michael holding the child.

"I just met a girl named Maria!" she wrote.

"Michael and I are pleased to announce the arrival of our beautiful girl, Maria... Bless you guys and thanks for all your thoughts and prayers!"

Galeotti announced her pregnancy in August 2010.
