The Australian model and crime novelist, who is married to poet Berndt Sellheim, gave birth to first child Sapphira Jane Sellheim-Moss last week.
After posting a photograph of Sapphira with both parents on her website, Moss wrote: "So happy. Sapphira's first minutes in the world. With sapphire eyes and dad's hairstyle. Mum, dad and daughter are all doing brilliantly."
She later wrote on her Twitter page: "Thank you so much for all the wonderful well wishes."
