Noel Edmonds wants Princess Michael of Kent's £6 million country mansion to use as a base in Britain.
The Deal or No Deal host has been viewing several properties, say friends, but has set his heart on the Princess' Nether Lypiatt Manor.
"Noel has eyed up several properties but this is definitely grandest of all," a source told The People. Edmonds has been living in Nice since he split from his wife last year.
The source continued: "He has been looking for a British base for months and really likes what he saw at Nether Lypiatt."
The Princess and husband Prince Michael, meanwhile, have had the Gloucestershire home up for sale for 10 months.
