It was reported on Tuesday that Dior's fashion house severed its 14-year relationship with Galliano following his arrest in the French capital for allegedly using anti-Semitic remarks during an argument.
According to an statement released to The AP, an official for the company insisted that Dior is focusing on the Paris fashion week exhibition and was not prepared to comment on a possible replacement for Galliano at this point.
Friday's event is to feature a public showing of Dior's Fall-Winter collection.
On Monday, actress Natalie Portman, who has been named the face of the company's Miss Dior Cherie fragrance, expressed disgust over Galliano's alleged slurs and insisted that she will "not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way".
Galliano, who first joined Christian Dior in 1997, has received the 'British Fashion Designer of the Year' award on four occasions.
