Lindsay Lohan is rumoured to become the new face of fashion giant Luis Vuitton.

According to US Weekly, the Mean Girls actress will take over from supermodel Gisele Bundchen modelling the new autumn/winter range of Luis Vuitton's designer label.

Apparently head designer Marc Jacobs asked the actress to model the range and, being a "long-time fan of the brand", Lohan accepted.

Lohan would not be the first young actress to represent the label: previous Vuitton models have included Jennifer Lopez and Uma Thurman.
