Publisher HarperCollins has also touted that Joel will provide insight on the inspiration behind his most famous songs like 'The Entertainer' and 'New York State of Mind'.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee has released more than a dozen studio albums and has notched up 13 US top ten singles, including 'Tell Her About It' and 'We Didn't Start The Fire'.
The Book Of Joel is scheduled to be released in June.
