Leakes: 'Star Jones is a backstabber'

NeNe Leakes has spoken out regarding her supposed feud with fellow Celebrity Apprentice contestant Star Jones.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been outspoken about her dislike of Jones since filming of the series began, and described the former The View panelist as a 'backstabber'.

"Star's not nice," Leakes told Julie Chen during CBS daytime show The Talk this week. "I believe that anybody who has ever worked with her would side with me.

"She's a witch, with a 'b' in front," the reality star said, to the shock of the audience.

Leakes claimed that she initially tried to bond with Jones when they first started on The Celebrity Apprentice, but soon decided that they couldn't get along.

"I wanted to get to know her for whoever she was," Leakes added, explaining to Chen that she went on a number of dinner dates with Jones. "Later on I realised that she was just backstabbing and I called her on it, only because I'm loyal and she's not."

Jones recently said that she wouldn't be lured into a public spat with Leakes and refused to be a part of the feud.

The Celebrity Apprentice premieres its latest season on NBC on March 6.
