The Daybreak host and the Chelsea footballer have been the subject of engagement rumours throughout their 18-month romance, but Bleakley told the Mail On Sunday that she is not expecting the sportsman to pop the question any time soon.
"Will Frank propose? I haven't a clue," she confessed. "I keep getting asked this, but I think it's the one thing you shouldn't discuss with your partner. I should be the last person to know."
She added: "It's not a question I'd ask him in a million years. I'm certainly not sitting waiting for the big question."
However, Bleakley theorised that she would easily adjust to married life should Lampard get down on one knee, as she already considers herself to have the qualities necessary for a perfect housewife.
"I'm a Stepford wife at heart. I love Hoovering and I have a thing about the fridge being clean and tidy. It's a bit OCD. Frank doesn't complain - he verges on it himself.
"Frank's the organised planner of the two of us. If we go away for a weekend he has every moment planned out and I say, 'Just relax; let's see how it pans out'. I need that in my life, because I'm not organised, so we're each other's yin and yang."
Bleakley detailed last month how her Daybreak role has helped strengthen her relationship with Lampard.
