Kylie Minogue has revealed that she will always be grateful to her family for their support.

The Australian singer, who recently announced that it is five years since she fought cancer, said that parents Ronald and Carol, sister Dannii and brother Brendan helped her cope when life felt "dark".

Kylie told Molly Meldrum during an interview on the Seven Network: "It was my family who supported me through the really rotten, dark moments."

The star is currently promoting her Aphrodite world tour.
