Jones made the comments after his bandmate Dougie Poynter reportedly entered rehab to recover from his split from the Saturdays star. However, speaking to New magazine, Jones claimed that he does not care who Sandford dates.
"I personally couldn't give a s**t what she does," he said. "She can do what she likes."
He continued: "I haven't had a one-to-one chat with [Poynter] since it happened because we've been so busy with the tour, but I said to him last week, 'We need to go for a beer and a catch-up.' He's living with Tom [Fletcher] at the moment, so it's all good."
Fletcher added: "Our houses are next door to each other. We'd see each other every day anyway, so he's moved in with me since he split up with Frankie."
The pair confirmed that Poynter, who no longer speaks with Sandford, has already been on a "few" dates since the split.
