The Crocodile Dundee actor, who was accused of tax evasion by the ATO and the Australian Crime Commission before being cleared of all charges last year, compared them to the Taliban for their treatment of him.
Hogan told Channel Nine: "I have picked a great enemy. I might as well have picked the Taliban to take on as there's very few people who are up there supporting them.
"I've had several high-ranking legal authorities say to me, 'Don't keep insulting them, don't keep prodding them, you know, you're just making it worse.' These are arrogant bullies. They're used to making people roll over. I'm not going to roll over. I may lose, but I'm taking some of them with me.
"The [ATO has] declared me a criminal all around the world. It's over. I used to be Hoges the funny man or Crocodile Dundee, but now I'm the tax man. Google it, they've turned me into the tax man and that never goes away."
