Baldwin: 'I don't believe Sheen is sober'

Daniel Baldwin has claimed that his friend Charlie Sheen must take his sobriety seriously in order to avoid a tragedy.

During an interview on Piers Morgan Tonight, the former Celebrity Rehab star suggested that Sheen is losing his grip on reality.

"It's like watching a car in its last two laps at the Indy 500 being on fire and you're no longer wondering whether or not the guy is gonna finish the race, you're wondering whether it is going to explode and how many people it's going to take with it," he said.

Baldwin went on to doubt the credibility of the drug tests that Sheen claimed to have passed and expressed his hope that it doesn't take hitting rock bottom for his friend to realise the error of his ways.

He remarked: "I don't buy for a second that he's sober… I'm hoping that he has that moment of clarity that wakes him up and he sees himself... carrying on the way he is. It's gonna be one of those girls [Sheen's 'goddesses'] gets killed or something awful happens and I hope we don't lose our friend over it."

Yesterday, Sheen reportedly filed a lawsuit against Two and a Half Men producer Chuck Lorre and Warner Bros. seeking $100,000,000 (£62m) and punitive damages.
