Marco Pierre White has said that he doesn't think Jamie Oliver should be classed as a "great chef".

The TV chef, who hosts Hell's Kitchen, explained that Oliver is not accepted by "professional" cooks.

He told The Star: "I don't look at Jamie as a chef. He's never won a Michelin star. Because of that, he's not really accepted by the professional chef world.

"Yes, he inspires a lot of people to cook, but he doesn't fall under that category of great chefs."

The 49-year-old has trained chefs such as Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal.
