Pregnant Jewel 'doing fine after car crash'

Jewel is said to be "doing fine" after being involved in a major car wreck.

TMZ reports that the star, who announced in January that she is expecting her first child with husband Ty Murray, was driving in Stephenville, Texas just before noon on Friday when a volunteer fire truck ran into the passenger side of her car, totalling the vehicle.

"The singer was taken to the hospital and current medical tests conducted indicate that she and the baby are doing fine," her rep said in a statement.
