Darius Campbell marries Natasha Henstridge

Darius Campbell has married actress Natasha Henstridge in a private ceremony.

The former Popstars contestant - also known as Darius Danesh - wed Species star Henstridge at the San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara, California.

Campbell told Hello: "No-one knew we were there and that sense of it just being for us was very exciting - it felt a little bit naughty and secretive."

Henstridge, whose sons Tristan, 12, and Asher, 9, were present at the ceremony, added: "It was a very hard secret to keep. It was really spontaneous."

Last year, the couple called off a previous engagement, but Campbell explained: "I've always known the grass is not greener. Wanting to spend your life with someone is a realisation that can take seven years or happens instantly."

Henstridge added: "The universe conspired and I saw a lot of things much more clearly."
