Ozzy Osbourne 'hired jet for Jack's blanket'

Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that his son Jack became so attached to his security blanket that he once had to hire a private jet to return it.

The former Black Sabbath star explained that he went to extreme lengths to get the blanket back when it was accidentally left behind at a hotel room.

He wrote in his column for The Times: "I once sent a private jet halfway across America to go and get 'Baby' - my son Jack's comfort blanket - after we left it in a hotel room.

"That blanket pretty much ended up with its own security detail, we were so scared of losing it. We've still got it today."

The 62-year-old star also revealed that he is unable to use the internet for long periods, but is pleased as he fears he would become addicted otherwise.

He added: "The internet makes me glad I've got attention deficit disorder, because otherwise I'd be as glued to the screen as everyone else, getting up to no good."
