Bryan Adams confirms impending fatherhood

Bryan Adams has confirmed that he will soon become a first time father.

It was previously rumoured that the singer's personal assistant Alicia Grimaldi is pregnant with the pair's child and due to give birth in May.

He has since confirmed the reports in a statement, saying: "Alicia Grimaldi and I are expecting a baby.

"She helped me start my foundation years ago and it looks like she'll be running the family now. Thanks for your support and kind messages, we appreciate it greatly."
