The former Home and Away actress, who lives in the US but is currently wrapping up filming in her home country for ABC mini-series The Slap, attended the Melbourne Fashion Festival as an ambassador with various other celebrities yesterday.
George told The Daily Telegraph: "[I'm] falling in love with Australian fashion all over again. They really take risks, a lot of the designers here.
"They're more daring. We have got nothing to lose here. There are 20 million of us. We are not having to please 300 million people in the country like America or wherever."
Guy Sebastian, Rachael Finch, Megan Gale, Alex Perry and Andie MacDowell also attended the event.
