Ronnie Wood 'apologises to ex-wife Jo'

Jo Wood has revealed that she recently received an apology from her ex-husband Ronnie.

The 56-year-old's divorce from the Rolling Stones rocker was finalised last month, more than two years after he left her for waitress Ekaterina Ivanova.

She said on Loose Women: "I think it's good to apologise. Actually I just got an apology from my ex the other day. He said he was sorry.

"It was nice of him. I said, 'I forgive you now and I forgave you then.' It's the first time I've ever known him actually to say, 'I'm sorry,' so that was quite amazing."

However, Jo insisted that although she misses being in a relationship at times, she would never reconcile with Ronnie.

She explained: "I'd never have him back now. I'm too happy on my own. I love my life now. I love it. I don't have to answer to anybody, except my kids actually.

"I do miss having somebody to love me, but it's great. It has its advantages and its disadvantages. But I love working and I love getting out there and coming home when I want."

Ronnie and Ivanova were together for 14 months and ended their relationship in December 2009 following his arrest for an alleged assault on her.
