N-Dubz Tulisa: 'I'm not a monster'

N-Dubz star Tulisa has insisted that she is not the "monster" people might think she is.

The 22-year-old told Closer magazine that the media wants to portray the group, which includes Dappy and Fazer, as being "three evil kids".

"Dappy's had a lot of flack, and a lot of stories get extremely exaggerated," she said. "Like one about him throwing a bottle, and one said I trashed my Miami hotel room.

"It's not like that. I drink tea, I play scrabble, I'm not this rebellious monster they want me to be! They just want us to be these three evil kids."

She continued: "When I first started, I liked the fame, it was quite exciting. Now I just wanna hide, but I don't wanna leave the country. I love the fans - just not the poking into everyone's business."

On having a relationship in the public eye, she commented: "I hate it. I don't want people knowing my business anymore so I decided not to speak about my love-life ever again. If you put it out there you're gonna get more attention. I just don't feel that people need to know who I'm with or what I like to do in the bedroom."
