La Rue diagnosed as having had stroke

Danny La Rue has been diagnosed as having suffered a stroke in January.
According to BBC News Online, the 78-year-old has been ordered to take six months off work by doctors after the diagnosis, and has cancelled a planned UK tour.
A spokeswoman for La Rue said: "Danny has great inner strength and will concentrate on getting better. He is deeply grateful for all the kindness shown to him at this difficult time."
La Rue, whose real name is Daniel Patrick Carroll, is one of the most famous drag queens in the world.
