US Weekly reports that the couple, who began dating in August 2009, have split after less than two years together.
No reason was given for the break-up, and reps for the actors have not commented on the reports.
The couple dodged marriage rumours last summer and later went on to work together in the thriller film Case 39, an experience which Cooper raved about following its release.
They were also involved in a house fire at the Pennsylvania home of Cooper's parents in January 2011.
