Robert Pattinson: 'I like hot girls'

Robert Pattinson has jokingly admitted that he only signs up for films where he gets to act with beautiful women.

Pattinson made the comments during an interview with MTV News about his new film Water For Elephants with Reese Witherspoon.

"I like hot girls," Pattinson laughed, when asked about his track record of attractive co-stars. "I like being in movies with lots of hot girls."

The actor quickly clarified his comments, insisting that he enjoyed working with the actresses that he has been able to so far in his career because they are all "strong" characters.

"They're all very strong actually. I always end up being in movies with very experienced and passionate people," Pattinson added. "They're never just flimsy floozies."

Pattinson has also starred with former Lost actress Emile de Ravin, as well as his Twilight co-star and rumoured girlfriend Kristen Stewart.

Water For Elephants opens in US cinemas on April 22, and is released in the UK on May 4.
