The My Sister's Keeper actor told New York Magazine's Vulture that Judd showed little dedication to the play, which was penned by famed author Tennessee Williams in 1955.
"I loved saying the words and working with most of the people every night. I didn't like my leading lady," Patric said.
He added: "Ashley is just a lazy and arrogant actress. Let's just leave it at that."
Patric also revealed that he was never particularly close to his maternal grandfather, the legendary Hooneymooners comic Jackie Gleason.
"I didn't grow up with him. I only saw him a handful of times in my life," the star remarked. "He's had as much effect on me as he's had on [anyone]."
"He has nothing to do with me or my bloodline - I'm not a thoroughbred or purebred dog or something... He was just more of a hermit."
In February, it was announced that HBO passed on the comedy series Tilda, which Patric was to have starred in.
