Holly Madison 'splits from boyfriend'

Holly Madison has reportedly split from boyfriend and All Time Low frontman Jack Barakat.

The couple, who began dating in August 2009 after meeting via Twitter, are said to have mutually decided upon the break-up due to their busy careers, which caused the relationship to be mostly long distance.

RumorFix reports that the former Playboy Playmate plans to remain friends with Barakat in the future.

Neither star has responded to the reports.

Madison said last month that she had never been happier than she was with Barakat, calling him a "really down-to-earth guy" who allowed her to be herself.

She recently expressed her disapproval over the engagement of ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner to his 24-year-old girlfriend Crystal Harris, later revealing that she would not attend his forthcoming wedding.
