Soulja Boy 'mourns loss of half-brother'

XXL reports that Jenkins died from injuries sustained from a car accident he was involved in while in Charleston, Mississippi, though no details of the crash have been revealed.
"[At] home crying my eyes out I can't believe my lil bro is gone," Soulja Boy - born DeAndre Cortez Way - posted on his Twitter page on Monday.
"Today is not my day. RIP lil bro love you always :(."
Palm Tree Entertainment's chief Michael 'Miami Mike' Sykes, who is a friend of the rapper, also posted a tribute on Twitter which read: "The Flags are @ Half Staff @ the Offices of SODMG & PTEM RIP to @Souljaboy little brother who passed away in a auto crash last nite (sic)."
A representative for the rapper told the publication that funeral proceedings are scheduled for Saturday.
