Published Thursday, Mar 30 2006, 10:25 BST | By Fiona Edwards
The goodie bag given to George Clooney for presenting an Oscar has been sold for more than $45,000 in a charity auction.
All actors that introduced an award category were given the bag, which contained such presents as a pocket computer, a designer kimono and a pearl necklace.
Clooney donated the bag to be auctioned to raise money for the relief effort for the hurricanes which hit the US last year.
The successful bidder was not named by the organisation behind the auction, United Way of America.
