Speaking on Richard Bacon's BBC 5Live radio show, Price joked that she must "have a bit of gypsy" in her after noting the similarities between the participants in the programme and herself.
Commenting on the extravagant nuptials in the Cutting Edge documentary, she added: "The big old dresses, the cakes, the carriage. It's just like me isn't it? They looked so uncomfortable. My first dress [when I married Peter Andre] was uncomfortable as well."
When asked how she felt about the travelling community using similar themes to her famous pink fairytale wedding to Andre, she admitted that it was "flattering".
Big Fat Gypsy Weddings was a record-breaking ratings hit for Channel 4 earlier this year.
Price is currently on a promotional day ahead of the launch of her new fly-on-the-wall series Katie, which airs tonight at 9pm on Sky Living.
