Steenburgen, Will Ferrell 'have sick love'

Ted Danson has joked that his wife Mary Steenburgen and Will Ferrell share a "sick love".

In an interview with PopEater, the Bored to Death actor laughed off rumours that there could be "something going on" between the actors because of the multiple projects that they have appeared in together.

"Yes, there is [something going on], but it's very sick. It's a sick kind of love," he said.

"You know what? They are probably two of the most trustworthy individuals on the planet. It's kind of fun to joke about them."

He added: "Let me just put this in the hopper - every movie that makes a crap load of money she's been in. I think they may be doing Step Brothers 2."

It was recently reported that Steenburgen will join Bored to Death's next season as a vocal coach hired to help Danson's character prepare for a charity concert performance.
