The '2012' singer turns 27 on March 26 and has revealed that his one wish is for fans, friends and family to help support the charity.
Keep a Child Alive provides medication and support for children suffering or affected by HIV/AIDS across Africa and India. Having just returned from a visit to South Africa to witness the organisation at work, Sean has now pledged to help the venture.
"I love being an artist because it allows me to do what I love for a living: music. Along with my 'job' comes a platform which I can use to do something that can make a difference," Jay Sean stated.
"I have been blessed with many wonderful fans and it makes me realise how we TOGETHER can make a positive impact. Having been to two KCA sites in South Africa, I experienced how donations from all over the world are really making a difference in people's lives. It's up to all of us to help each other."
The star is due to release his fourth studio album Freeze Time on July 5.
