Christina Aguilera opens Twitter account

The singer-actress posted her first tweet on Tuesday to express her excitement over using the microblogging site to connect with fans.
"Here goes my first Tweet! Brace yourselves… So excited to connect with all my fans here. xo – Xtina (sic)," the Burlesque star tweeted.
Aguilera later promoted a new album from Linda Perry on Twitter by posting, "My girl @reallindaperry has a band called Deep Dark Robot with a new album released today! Check it out."
On Wednesday, the 'Beautiful' singer posted a link to a picture of Russian nesting dolls that resemble her along with the message: "My fans are amazing. Look at what someone made for me in Russia. So creative & artistic. Genius, love it!"
The popstar recently joined the forthcoming NBC reality competition show The Voice as a coach.
The show will also feature coaches Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
