Metro quotes the Blue member as launching into a foul-mouthed rant against manufactured artists at a Nintendo 3DS launch party this week.
Ryan allegedly said at the event: "It's been so boring without Blue. All that X Factor b*llocks. F**k X Factor. All they say is 'Oh, we're from The X Factor, we're so boring'. X Factor c***s. Bands like The Wanted are so dull. Don't worry, Blue are back now."
After discovering the comments this afternoon, Parker responded to Ryan's criticism by mocking Blue's decision to represent the UK at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
He wrote: "Dear Mr Ryan. I'm writing this message to say f**k you calling us "dull" in the paper today. I'm really excited to see you represent the UK at Eurovision this year. My thoughts, and more importantly MY PRAYERS will be with you at this very difficult time (sic)."
Commenting on the feud that erupted between fans of both boybands in the wake of his post, Parker added: "Outrage on twitter once again lol! Its a natural thing to defend yourself when someone makes a comment about you."
In attempt to defuse the situation, Blue posted a message from Ryan on their official profile clarifying his quotes.
The note read: "I'd like to set the record straight about my comments that have been reported today. I was only making a joke that too many current music acts are overly 'media trained'.
"I didn't mean to cause any offence and my comments were not aimed at any band in particular at all. For the record, I think The Wanted are a great band!"
Apparently satisfied with the 'I Can' singer's response, Parker tweeted to Blue: "Apology accepted. We'd love for you to come and see the show and perhaps get a beer after."
Ryan allegedly caused a further stir at the same event by using a lewd chat-up line on MTV presenter Laura Whitmore.
