Man Utd striker Ruud van Nistelrooy and wife Leontien are expecting their first child together, according to The Sun.
The couple - childhood sweethearts - tied the knot in July 2004 and have been trying for a baby ever since.
"Leontien is three months pregnant," a source told the newspaper. "She and Ruud are delighted, but they are private people and don't want to make a song and dance. They have only told close friends and family."
