Ryan Thomas has been doing secret charity work with cancer sufferers.
Patients at Christie Hospital, near the Coronation Street set in Manchester, have been surprised to see the soap star helping out.
The 22-year-old, who plays Jason Grimshaw, works with support group Christie Friends on tasks like helping kids with face painting.
Peter Bridson, 45, visiting, said: "It's wonderful he comes in."
The group's Sue Royle welcomed the star's work. "Ryan does a tremendous amount to help out," she said. "He creates a bit of a stir on the wards when he's doing a shift."
