Kerry Katona: "I'm just being a normal mum"

Kerry Katona has said that she is now being a normal mother.

The ex-Atomic Kitten singer told Lorraine on ITV1 that she was "on top of the world" and "never felt this good since [she] was 14".

Katona said: "My head's clear, I know what I want in life, I love spending time with my kids, I'm happy as a woman, I'm a bit more confident, and I'm enjoying my life.

"The bond that I have got with my children now - no-one is ever going to take that away from me again, nobody."

Of being able to interact more with her children, she added: "When I was in my last relationship with my future ex-husband, that kind of got took away from me.

"It was very controlling and very manipulated the way it was done. But now I'm just being a normal mum. I do the school runs, which I never used to do when I was with Mark [Croft]. Do the school runs, messing around with them, playing, bathing, more time with them."
