The Clerks director will put hundreds of costumes and other items from his films up for auction in April at the Pasadena Convention Centre to raise distribution funds for his new film Red State.
According to TMZ, auction items will include the 'Bluntman and Chronic' costumes from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back as well as Bartleby's angel wings from Dogma.
The director will podcast live from the April 10 auction event. Fans can also bid on items online through the LiveAuctioneers website.
Smith announced last year that he is retiring from directing movies after the release of his 2012 project Hit Somebody.
However, Smith recently admitted that he might return to directing non-film projects in the future.
"I'm willing to try other directing projects," he previously said.
