'Die Hard' director charged by FBI

John McTiernan has been charged with making false statements to the FBI.
The Die Hard director will appear in court on April 17 on 110 counts of racketeering and conspiracy indictment, according to BBC News Online.
McTiernan has been charged in relation to a wire-tapping investigation against former private investigator Anthony Pellicano, who has been accused of stealing the private records of a number of Hollywood celebrities.
McTiernan's lawyer has not commented on the allegations.
