Jennifer Lopez: 'Laughter makes good marriage'

Jennifer Lopez claims that the key to a successful marriage is a sense of humour.

The American Idol judge credits laughter as the reason that her marriage to Marc Anthony has lasted where her previous marriages have failed.

"Our secret is being able to laugh together," Lopez said, according to Bang Showbiz. "He's a funny guy, it's what I've always love about him.

"We also have a real connection which is based on a lot of love and laughter," the singer added.

Lopez married Anthony in a quiet ceremony in 2004, with the couple renewing their vows together last year.

The 'On The Floor' singer gave birth to the pair's first children, twins Max and Emme, in 2008.

Lopez was married to Ojani Noa between 1997 and 1998, and backup dancer Cris Judd between 2001 and 2002. She was also engaged to actor Ben Affleck until the relationship ended in 2004.
