N-Dubz Dappy 'mugged in London restaurant'

N-Dubz member Dappy was allegedly mugged in a London restaurant on Friday night.

The rapper was dining at Mao Tai in Fulham with girlfriend Kaye Vassell, Tinchy Stryder and his partner when he was threatened with a knife by three men while using the bathroom.

Dappy, who recently claimed to have split from Vassell, was apparently forced to hand over his £10,000 N-Dubz chain and other pieces of jewellery.

The men fled, but Dappy spotted three people who he thought were their friends sitting at another table. He shouted: "Your mates just mugged me in the toilet," the News of the World reports.

A fight reportedly broke out, resulting in Dappy being hit over the head with a glass bottle of Perrier water. Other diners, including Sky Sports News presenter Millie Clode, are said to have "screamed in terror and dived for cover".

A source said: "It was pandemonium. Kaye got involved, although Tinchy hung back and watched in shock."

Dappy refused to press charges. "Dappy's had a lot of problems with the police. It's not his style," another source added.

Clode wrote on Twitter: "Omg. Someone just tried to bottle someone from ndubz! in FULHAM. I've made ndubz a little less street & credible now u know they go to posh restaurants for sups! Tee hee! (sic)"

Dappy recently admitted that he is 'filled with self-doubt'.
