Reese Witherspoon 'impressed by Pattinson'

Reese Witherspoon has revealed that she is impressed by Robert Pattinson's ability to avoid the paparazzi.

Witherspoon recently spoke to USA Today about Water for Elephants, her upcoming movie with Pattinson. In the interview, the recently-married actress stated that her young co-star had more to offer than she did in the way of advice.

"Me?" Witherspoon answered incredulously when asked if she had tried to give Pattinson advice. "If anything, I'd probably be asking his advice. He has, like, military tactics to avoid paparazzi. It's pretty incredible, the operations that go on."

In Water For Elephants, Witherspoon plays a star performer in a circus that Pattinson's young vet joins. The two begin an illicit affair under the eyes of a cruel and abusive husband, played by Inglorious Basterds star Christoph Waltz.

Witherspoon has previously praised Pattinson, stating that she was very lucky to have such a talented actor alongside her while filming.

Water For Elephants opens in US cinemas on April 22 and in the UK on May 4.
