Gwyneth Paltrow to launch food magazine?

Gwyneth Paltrow is in discussions to launch a magazine based around her love of food, it has been reported.

The Country Strong star has fronted her own weekly lifestyle newsletter known as Goop since 2008, but sources now tell the New York Post's Page Six that Paltrow is in negotiations with publishers Hearst Corporation to expand her brand into the literary world.

While an insider described the potential magazine as a "super-secret project", a spokesperson for the publishing house insisted that the only project the company has planned for Paltrow is for the star to "occasionally [appear] on [Hearst] magazine covers".

Later this month, Paltrow is scheduled to release a new book titled My Father's Daughter, which is to include recipes for her late father Bruce's favourite dishes.

In 2007, Paltrow and Food Network chef Mario Batali filmed the PBS series Spain… On The Road Again in which they showcased local cuisine from various regions in Spain.

Last week, the actress downplayed the suggestion that she is interested in recording a full-length LP in the near future.
