The socialite suffered damage to her nose after a £400-a-day cocaine addiction, reports the Evening Standard. She initially underwent surgery in 2006, under the treatment of Martin Kelly, the late husband of actress Natascha McElhone.
However, the first operation used cartilage from Palmer-Tomkinson's ear, which, she revealed, did not "stand up well to general wear and tear".
The 39-year-old said that she is now keen to try "rhino-tough cartilage from [her] ribs", resulting in "a strong, cemented honker".
Explaining her decision, Palmer-Tomkinson said:"I'll tell you exactly what's happening with my nose. When I originally had it fixed I was asked by my surgeon where I wanted him to 'go shopping' for the cartilage. I was told it could be taken from my ear or from my ribs and I chose my ear.
"But the trouble with cartilage from the ear is that, although you get a really nice shape, it's delicate and easily damaged.
"It doesn't stand up well to general wear and tear. The other day I was shaking my duvet and the TV remote control flew up and hit me in the face.
"In all honesty, before all the fuss, I didn't actually think the nose looked that bad. But now that it's had so much attention I've become a bit obsessed by it, so I want it done."
