Taylor Swift linked to Garrett Hedlund?

Taylor Swift reportedly shared a dinner date with Country Strong actor Garrett Hedlund last Friday.

Hedlund, who is in Nashville to record an LP, apparently met the 'You Belong With Me' singer for romantic rendezvous at a Nashville restaurant late in the evening, but returned to his hotel just after midnight.

A source close to the singer has told Us magazine that the pair's recent outing was prompted by frequent email contact.

"They've been emailing for a while, and [Swift] hinted they should get together," the insider claimed.

It is thought that Swift's romantic interest in Hedlund was sparked after she discovered that they both share a love of country music.

"She has actually spent time getting to know Garrett," the source disclosed. "He's cute - and he's into country music! [She] likes that he's a normal guy."

Swift has been linked with several high-profile celebrities in recent years, including Joe Jonas, John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal.
