The Tooth Fairy star discussed several instances of childhood sexual abuse in the book, a decision which is said to have angered her family because of its lack of discretion.
"How she could betray her own flesh and blood with this disturbed view of what happened is shocking and hurtful?" a source asked PopEater.
"These ugly family accusations should be discussed in private within the family, not printed and sold to the public to make a quick buck."
The insider continued: "Naomi and Wynonna have had a strained relationship with Ashley for years. This is the final nail in the coffin - they are very angry and hurt that Ashley would write a book rather than deal with whatever problems they have privately."
Judd was recently announced for the ABC series Missing.
